Les activités de négoce des matières premières représentent un tiers du commerce mondial et ont une influence considérable sur le développement durable. Dans l'étude scientifique la plus complète à ce jour de l'Académie suisse des sciences naturelles (SCNAT), des chercheuses et chercheurs ont analysé l'influence des sociétés de négoce sur le développement économique, écologique et social. L’étude révèle notamment les opportunités à saisir pour la Suisse en tant que plateforme de négoce majeure et comment elle peut minimiser les risques au niveau mondial.
